Citrus Curd & Pistachio Meringue Tarts
Biting into these, you hit that mallowy meringue first before the citrus curd, compote and frangipane all incased in crumbly pastry. Sometimes a punchy zing from a fresh grapefruit segment chiming in. Its reminiscent of fancy marmalade on toast and it was an absolute joy to make.

This is one I'll definitely be making again! So delicious. A perfect short and crumbly hazelnut pastry spiced with cinnamon, ginger and lemon. Filled with raspberry jam and topped with demerara sugar for that extra crunch

My boyfriend is one happy South African after I finally made him a Melktert! Crisp buttery pastry filled with a soft set vanilla custard. Set just enough to hold its shape but soft and creamy with every bite.
